Hello, I’m Shiphrah Israel, a dedicated midwife, passionate doula, loving wife, homebirthing mom, and someone who believes deeply in the power of informed, empowered birth. I highly value community and one-to-one connection, that is why I offer my time as a consultant to be a guiding light and support to those on a similar path. 

Starting as a doula since 2019, I’ve been blessed to support families through various birth experiences, whether it’s at home, in the hospital, medicated, unmedicated, vaginal, or cesarean. I eventually found that the best birth experience outcomes came with providers that supported the path families desires,whilst assisting them clinically to align with that plan. I sought to become that myself. Birth is a sacred, transformative process; and my goal is to create a space where families feel heard, respected, and empowered to make the best decisions for their unique journey.

When I’m not working in the childbirth world, I’m busy creating opportunities for birth professionals through event coordination and public speaking, where I help amplify voices and ideas that make birth safer and more empowering for everyone. Whether I’m hosting a podcast episode, supporting a new family, or just spending quality time with mine, I bring love, intention, and warmth into everything I do.
